Enriched with a blend of grape skin tannins, mannoproteins and carefully selected yeast derivates rich in amino acids, FERMOPLUS® AromaGlow is designed to enhance the aroma, taste profile and mouthfeel of your beer across the broadest possible range of styles.
The free availability of tannins rich in thiol precursors provided by grape skin tannins allows yeast strains expressing the IRC-7 gene to access and synthesize aroma active compounds, so enhancing tropical, floral and citrus notes in hoppy beers whilst reducing compounds associated with ageing.
Many factors affect yeast metabolism. The composition of the medium the yeast finds itself in and the condition of the yeast itself being the major determinants of how yeast will perform, especially where yeast is repatched over several generations and cell senescence increases. Accordingly, the addition of yeast nutrients is useful to ensure that essential elements are present in sufficient quantities and in molecular configurations can be most readily assimilated by the yeast cell to ensure optimal yeast health and fermentation performance.
