INNOTEC PRESENTS WINETICA, THE INTEGRATED SOLUTION FOR IN-LINE FERMENTATION MONITORING

The oenological industry requires more and more effective and efficient monitoring systems for both quality control and optimization of production processes.

For this reason Innotec Tecnologie Innovative, a company that has recently become part of our group, has created Winetica®, an integrated solution able to monitor any type of vinification and any stage of the wine evolutionary process: from primary fermentation to sparkling process and bottling.

The tank is automatically recognized and a device integrated in the techjacket guides the operator based on the work protocols set by the winemaker. The multi-parameter probe directly immersed into the tank measures in-line sugars, developed and total alcohol, pH, extract, temperature, turbidity, oxygen, conductivity, rH.

A level sensor allows monitoring different areas of the tank, as well as managing the product inventory. Data is sent wireless to a remote PC, from which the operator can display tracks, take corrective actions, send instructions. The winemaker, depending on the requested product, can handle warning and alert levels, also taking into account the interactions between the different parameters.

Winetica® is an innovative solution integrating the usual off-line monitoring carried out in laboratories. Besides allowing considerable time and resource saving, the system provides early warning about current deviations, enabling preventive, accurate and precise choices.
