OENOLOGY: AN IMPORTANT CYCLE OF SEMINARS HELD BY AEB

In July, AEB held a number of very important meetings about vinification, in view of next harvest. Many prominent personalities of research world and universities attended the seminars, among which Tommaso Bonciani of the UMCC Group in Reggio Emilia and Luca Rolle, Professor at the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences at the University of Turin.
The first meeting was held on July 10 in Romagna. The focus was about the ripening of red grapes. The following day it was the turn of the Association of Italian Oenologists (AEI), Campania section. The President of Assoenologi Campania, Roberto Di Meo, opened the works.
To follow, two other important seminars: the first with AEI of Apulia, inaugurated by the President, Massimiliano Apollonio, and the second with AEI of Marche-Abruzzo. Among the topics discussed, the yeast selection, the choice of nutrients and the protection of the colouring matter.
