2017/06/28
A great success for the conference recently held in the city of Modra, Slovakia. The prestigious Elesko wine cellar hosted nearly 50 winemakers coming from Slovakia.
Boris Coglot, Area Manager for Slovakia, and Carlo Montanini, head of R&D oenological activity, have presented many topics to participants. Starting from the new frontier for the yeast nutrition: Fermoplus® Energy Glu 3.0. Practical vinification trials with Fermoplus® Tropical have been also the subject of an in-depth study.
Yeasts were given also a wide space: the new strains of aromatic yeasts, Fermol® Lime, Fermol® Tropical and Fermol® Fleur have been presented, together with the research carried out in collaboration with the Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin (IFV) on the selection of yeasts for the production of thiol aromatic wines.
Lastly, malolactic fermentation and bacterial coinoculum technique was discussed, and the new malolactic bacteria Malolact Easystart and Malolact C2P were introduced. The workshop concluded with the deepening of bio protection through the Primaflora project carried out in collaboration with the University of Bourgogne.
