PIEDMONT: OVER 70 CUSTOMERS AT THE SEMINAR ABOUT BIO-CONTAMINATION
2019/04/04
On 28 March, a scientific seminar by AEB France was held in Alba - Piedmont on the subject "Prevention and treatment of bio-contaminations". Among the speakers we mention Patricia Taillandier of the University of Toulouse; Scott Simonin of IUVV Burgundy Jules Guyot; Christophe Gerland, Director of Intelli’Oeno in Valencia. Our collaborators Andrè Fuster, Francesco Dragotto, Jean-Charles Bonnet, Veronica Vezzani and Coralie Pagani also took part in the seminar. This meeting has allowed a real exchange of information and experiences about the issue of cellar contaminations. In addition to the theoretical part, three practical "ateliers" were organized, during which some defective wines were tasted. On this occasion, our experts explained the functioning of IcGene and illustrated the equipment to distribute sanitizing formulations.
The meeting was attended by over 70 customers from all the wine areas of France and numerous colleagues from the technical-commercial network. The meeting was an opportunity to visit two wineries producing great Piedmont wines: Cantine Rivetti in Neive, leader in the production of Moscato and Barbaresco, and Cantina Astemia Pentita in Barolo, example of a close link between art and great wines.
