AEB DEPTH FILTRATION RANGE

Layered depth filters

The Depth Filtration Range filter sheets are designed to filter all types of liquids and include filters for wine, oil, beer and juices.

All made of natural, first choice and particularly pure materials, carrying a cationic charge: finely fibrillated cellulose fibres of broadleaf trees and conifers, kieselguhr and perlite at different concentrations.

WHY CHOOSE AEB FILTER SHEETS?

  • 01
Minimum loss of product due to dripping
  • 02
    Low absorption of colour
  • 03
Low release of calcium and iron, especially in distillate filtration
  • 04
    Easy elimination of "paper taste"
  • 05
Quality of the raw materials (cellulose, kieselguhr and perlite)
  • 06
Wide range to fulfil any demand (0.2 and 35 μm)
  • 07
High filtration efficency thanks to a sheet thickness of 3.9 mm
  • 08
No shredding (the sheet is precision cut using water at 12,000 bar)
  • 09
High inspection standards: the sheets undergo laboratory analysis for traceability and verification of the filtering surface using a special scanner
  • 10
Easy to rigenerate and excellent burst strength

AEB DEPTH FILTRATION RANGE

The AEB depth filtration range filters are available in standard 40x40 sizes, with special formats on request.

  • 1. SHEETS FOR STERILIZING FILTRATION

    PRODUCTS

    AEB DFR
    100 / 110
    130 / 140

    TYPE OF FILTRATION

Sterilizing filtration with reduction of microorganisms

    DESCRIPTION

The filters are characterized by a high degree of microbiological retention, which is possible thanks to the narrow pore structure of the filter medium, combined with an electrokinetic potential with adsorption action.

    APPLICATIONS

Their ideal application is in sterile cold bottling, aimed at improving the preservation of wines, beer and juices. Due to the high retention capacity of the colloidal components, these sheets can also be used as prefilters upstream of the membrane filtration.

  • 2. SHEETS FOR REDUCTION OF MICROORGANISMS AND MICROFILTRATION

    PRODUCTS

    AEB DFR
    40 / 40 HF / 50
    70 / 85 HF

    TYPE OF FILTRATION

Filtration with reduction of microorganisms and microfiltration

    DESCRIPTION

They achieve a high level of clarification due to their effective retention capacity of the finest particles, combined with microbiological retention.

    APPLICATIONS

They are particularly suitable for the storage and bottling of microbiologically stable wines.

  • 3. SHEETS FOR COARSENING AND BRIGHTENING FILTRATION

    PRODUCTS

    AEB DFR
    06 / 09 / 12 HF
    15 / 20 HF / 30

    TYPE OF FILTRATION

    Coarsening and brightening filtration

    DESCRIPTION

They have a high-volume hollow structure and a high turbidity absorption capacity.

    APPLICATIONS

They are specially designed to ensure the brightening of the product, be it wine, beer, oil or juices.
