FERMOALE New-E is a new yeast specifically designed to brew New England-style IPAs (NEIPAs), a style of beer best described as Juicy-IPA.
Available in dry active form, FERMOALE New-E intensifies fruity hop-derived flavours to create a beer with a taste of fresh tropical fruit juice and an aroma of a fruit basket laden with peaches, mangos, citrus and passionfruit. The yeast contributes to give NEIPAs their rich smooth hazy body and soft mouthfeel.
FERMOALE New-E is designed to create fruit-forward ‘juicy’ beers that are full-bodied. A correct amount of residual non-fermented sugars contributes to give the beer greater texture and a soft, rounded mouthfeel. We recommend using fruity hop varieties to intensify the fruit flavours and aromas.
FERMOALE New-E is a top fermenting dry active yeast; it can perform across a wider temperature range and this flexibility allows the brewer to create unique aroma and flavour profiles in their NEIPA brands. FERMOALE New-E has the capacity for fermentations up to 11% ABV.
FERMOALE New-E is ideal for enhancing hop-forward fruity aromas and flavours of pale ales and is particularly designed to create juicy, hazy New England-style IPAs (NEIPAs). It’s the ideal yeast to brew contemporary NEIPAs with delicious fruity profiles, smooth rich mouthfeel, to give truly juicy drinking experiences.
