WATER AND FOOD-GRADE REVERSE OSMOSIS EQUIPMENT
Reverse osmosis is today’s safest and most efficient system for treating water for food use. It is able to retain 90 to 99.9 % of the substances dissolved in water.
Reverse osmosis systems are preferably used in situations requiring a continuous supply of pure water, a compact size and low servicing and maintenance costs.
The treated water is also bacteriologically healthy and safe, as 99.99% of bacteria and 98.00% of viruses are eliminated. It is therefore also an excellent defensive wall against micro-pollutants, pesticides, pyrogens, viruses and bacteria.
Depending on flows, Osmo ensures modulation of the quantities of calcium and magnesium salts constituting water hardness, thereby reducing it. This treatment provides water that is ideal for use in cation exchange plants.
OPERATION
The display on the control unit always shows the operation the equipment is currently performing – washing, production with measurement of permeate inlet and outlet or standby in microsiemens. The PLC display on the other hand, during the production of purified water, shows the flow rate in L/min of the concentrate, permeate and concentrate recovery system in order to best regulate the equipment and obtain the desired results.
