Ris is a primary sequestering additive suited to control the hardness of industrial waters in general, and in particular to control limestone during bottle washing, where it avoids the clogging of nozzles and the dripping effect on bottles, which is typical of rinsing departments. Ris has been formulated at a high concentration, in order to obtain a high sequestering action towards mineral salts (threshold effect), even in particularly difficult systems. Ris contains no surfactant components and therefore it is able to reduce the polluting charge when discharging it.
